An update on the Adventure Playgrounds

We are grateful to London Borough of Lewisham for their continued commitment to keep the adventure playgrounds open for a further nine months and for granting Youth First to run two sessions a week in these amazing spaces. 

We are working tirelessly to ensure that we can open these adventure playgrounds safely with the right number of qualified staff and welcome young people so they can stay active and continue enjoying play.

Over the past few months we have been recruiting youth and play workers  for the adventure playgrounds, and have been holding interviews

Once we have our qualified staff, we will be recruiting volunteers to support with running our sessions. So if you are interested in volunteering with us please let us know by emailing mandi.james@youthfirst.org.uk.

We understand that you want these amazing spaces open for the young people and we would like to assure you that are doing everything we can to make this happen safely.
