Celebrating Sir Jack Petchey CBE 1925-2024

We are very saddened to have heard the news that Sir Jack Petchey CBE founder of the Jack Petchey Foundation, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Thursday 27th June 2024.

Jack Petchey was a dedicated person who gave so much to many young people. He believed in the need to support young people and has made a huge impact on so many. The Jack Petchey Foundation was established in 1999 and has invested over £110 million to date to support many establishments who work with young people.

We at Youth First would like to say a huge thank you for all you have done for the young people, giving equipment, trips, wonderful memories and so many life changing opportunities. You have left a great legacy.
